NEWPORT PAGNELL 0

A fantastic way to end the season with all the lads playing their hearts out to save the potential heartache of being relegated. A convincing 2 - 0 win over Newport Pagnell puts us in 5th place and safe.

Second half goals came from Toby with a terrific strike after being put through by Carlton who himself bagged an absolute scorcher from outside the box after latching onto a through ball from Luke. Thanks go to Oliver who stood in for our injured Kristian and put in a brilliant performance.

Well done boys, you have done us proud in our first difficult season at 11 a side.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
