Not a good game for the Colts and one to try and forget as soon as possible. Plagued with injuries and reduced to half speed, the defence were left for dead too many times on the break. Poor Oliver did not stand a chance.
Unfortunately there were only a couple of players who looked as though they wanted to be there from the outset. The work rate, fitness and general attitude needs to be overhauled and looked at closely.
Just one highlight in the game was a splendid second half goal from Nicholas who lobbed the keeper from about 20 yards out. The lads upped their game for the last 10 minutes with better looking football but of course we were well and truly sunk by this time.
Man of the match has to go to Jonny who worked his socks off and showed true determination.
