It was a great way to end a good season this morning (in the rain), with all the players playing some great football, and getting allot of match time. Unfortunately Olney have suffered all season with lack of players, and this morning they only had six turn up. As it was the end of the season, and Colts already won the league, before kick off it was decided between both teams, to give the win (2-0) to the Colts.
With this in mind, Joe and Conor kindly volunteered to play for Olney (just this morning mind you!!!) Both of them stood out as being Olneys best two players, with Joe getting a great goal, and also laying on another!
This game also gave us the opportunity to experiment with the team formation, playing two forwards, one at the back etc, the latter not being an option in the future, although Adam done well on his own for long periods of the game, even with four attackers to deal with.
In the end Colts won 6-3, with goals from Oliver, Jay, LiamP, Lewis and two own goals coming from Jakes shots.
