As ever, a very tight match to end the season against Silverstone.

Unfortuneately, the scoreline did not reflect what I though was a very even game, with Silverstone-s persistance gaining them a couple of goals, both from deflected clearances.

That said, Colts were lacking the usual sparkle and energy in the match-play, apart from one or two lovely flowing peices in the second half. Passing was not sharp enough in this game and we did not keep possession well enough.

Midifeld and strikers need to also practice more rapid shooting, even if it wins us a deflected goal like Silverstone had. It seemed as if we were not taking the shooting oppotunities early enough in this game.

Goalkeeper and defence had a great game however, and we will need to build in this for the coming season.

Apologies to the rested players, Michael + Lewis, who showed up to play. I was not completely sure which team members were going to be available until the morning of the match, and was only realistically able to use 3 subs.

This result, combined with previous weeks, means that we are joint runners up in the league for the end of the season. I have been informed by the league that all runners-up teams will recieve a medal at the MKDDL presentations on the 25th June, so well done for good performance this season!!
